Educational qualifications include a BSc in Childhood Studies from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Psychology from Queen Mary University of London.Current clinical experience includes supporting Autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, with responsibilities including developmental history-taking, neurodevelopmental and cognitive assessments, clinical report writing, and multidisciplinary collaboration with families, schools and other professionals. Previous experience includes supporting 16–18-year-olds with mental health and special educational needs within supported living, providing 1:1 support to asylum seekers, and gaining experience in fostering, safeguarding and child protection through a placement with Hackney Council. Professional training includes Level 3 and Level 4 CPD in Autism and ADHD, alongside accredited training in ADOS-2 and ADI-R. Also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).A compassionate, person-centred and evidence-based approach underpins a strong commitmentto supporting children, young people and families to feel heard, understood and appropriately supported.

Meet Dr Adriana Coelho, a seasoned Clinical and Educational Psychologist registered in England, Italy, and Portugal. With a diverse professional background spanning over three decades, she has worked extensively across educational and healthcare settings. A true innovator, Dr Coelho pioneered the introduction of dance as a learning tool in Brazilian schools in 1992, viewing it as a powerful medium for self-awareness, bodily expression, emotional connection, socialisation, and communication.

Her achievements include receiving a prestigious state award in 2016 for developing an inclusive psychopedagogical project aimed at integrating and empowering children with disabilities and various disorders. This recognition was presented by Governor Nicola Zingaretti in the Lazio region of Italy, underlining her notable contributions to education and psychology.

Dr Coelho’s expertise is grounded in her extensive experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Neurodevelopmental disorders. Her work reflects a deep commitment to understanding and supporting individuals, ensuring they receive dedicated, evidence-based interventions tailored to their needs.
