Meet Gené Noel-Williams, a Psychologist at Body & Mind Healthcare Clinic with a BSc in Psychology (First Class Honours) from the University of Kent. She has also completed accredited training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), the Autism Diagnostic Interview–Revised (ADIR), and a Level 2 Counselling Skills course.

Over the course of her career, Gené has supported children, young people, and adults with a wide range of needs across multiple settings. She completed a placement in the Child Development & Paediatrics department at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, where she observed and assisted with autism and ADHD assessments, drafted clinical reports, and provided 1:1 support for children experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and anger.

Alongside her clinical training, Gené has worked extensively as a Support Worker in both community and residential settings, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and complex needs. In these roles, she delivered personalised care, facilitated engaging activities to promote independence and wellbeing, and collaborated closely with families and professionals to ensure holistic support.

More recently, she has worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school, providing 1:1 support for students with special educational, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Through these experiences, Gené has developed strong skills in tailoring interventions, building trust with young people and their families, and promoting both academic and personal growth.
