BSc (Hons) Psychology graduate from the University of Brighton, with experience across mental health, neurodevelopmental and educational settings.
• Hands-on clinical experience supporting individuals with complex autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities and high support needs within Long-Term Segregation (LTS) and enhanced packages of care.
• Experienced in person-centred care, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), behavioural observation, structured routines, de-escalation and safeguarding, supporting individuals experiencing distress and behavioural escalation.
• Experienced in working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and maintaining accurate clinical documentation while promoting dignity, independence, emotional wellbeing and quality of life.
• Previous experience in specialist education, supporting individuals with complex emotional, behavioural and developmental needs through individualised support, consistent communication and de-escalation strategies.
• Clinical exposure through NHS Talking Therapies, including clinical triage, risk screening, safeguarding, stepped-care pathways and brief psychological interventions.
• Research experience includes quantitative research, ethical review, data analysis and evidence-based practice, alongside a Psychology dissertation exploring self-control, self-esteem, self-authenticity and mental health.
• Particularly interested in clinical, educational and neurodevelopmental psychology, with a compassionate and psychologically informed approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
