Meet Tejal Singh, an Assistant Psychologist at Body & Mind Healthcare Clinic. Warm, patient, and dedicated, Tejal brings excellent interpersonal and communication skills to her practice. She holds a First-Class Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health from the University of Sussex, where she developed a strong understanding of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and formulation techniques to meet individual patient needs. Her academic work also included a detailed evaluation of therapy implementation within mental health settings.

Tejal has professional experience as a Learning Support Assistant, where she provided tailored support to children aged 11–17 with autism, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and other mental health difficulties. She also completed an internship at the Department of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology at Plovdiv Medical University, Bulgaria. During this placement, she collaborated with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and nurses, and conducted one-to-one interviews with patients presenting a wide range of diagnoses.

She is trained in both the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), equipping her with the skills to conduct autism assessments. Tejal prides herself on her ability to communicate with compassion, fostering a sense of security and empowerment in the individuals she supports.
